I am a Romanian hotelier, event planner and entrepreneur. After living in Paris, London and Buenos Aires, I returned to Romania in 2012 to open a boutique hotel, Hadar Chalet, with my sister Adriana. Our focus was design and exquisite hospitality.
In 2015 we launched The Barn, our event space, the first of its kind in our country. Since then, we have planned and executed over 200 weddings on our property. The vast majority of the brides and grooms that chose us lived abroad and wanted to offer a truly special experience to their guests in Romania, while having the most wonderful wedding celebration, just as they had imagined it.
Realising that I have had the almost unique experience of understanding the client, the venues, the planners and all of the difficulties that could arise when planning a destination wedding, I decided to write these guides in order to be able to help as many couples as possible.
